Brahma Kumaris, with its spiritual headquarters in Mount Abu, India, was founded in 1937. The organization comprises a worldwide network of centers in more than 110 countries.
This initiative is about awakening greater environmental awareness within our own organization, as well as collaborating and learning from others through dialogue, partnerships, UN conferences and local initiatives. Our main aim is to help people to experience greater well-being through inner peace and higher values.

A research project sponsored by the Indian Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and German Ministry for the Environment, the solar power plant near Mount Abu, will be the first of its kind in the world in dish technology in direct steam generation mode, with full thermal storage for 16 hours continuous operations for base load.
